Why Should My Family Use GPCC?

Grosse Pointe College Consulting provides experienced and professional guidance service to students and their families by helping them make appropriate and cost-effective college decisions. Our training and experience equip us to guide families through this often-difficult process.

Families who use Grosse Pointe College Consulting can expect a professional and confidential atmosphere where the focus is on counseling the student to determine needs, goals and interests. We will recommend options that are a good "fit" for the student taking into consideration unique talents and goals of the student, as well as the cost. We can guide parents and students through the process from start to finish.

Students in Grades 8-10

We will help younger teenagers and their parents with the following:

Students in Grades 11-12

  • Step-by-step help with the total application process until a final decision is reached
  • Guidance in finding the individual "voice" for the application essay, as well as appropriate editorial assistance
  • Help with understanding financial aid and how it applies to the family
